Privacy Policy
The Short Version
We collect very little information about you — and what we do collect is only used to respond to your questions or send updates you explicitly asked for.
No cookies, no tracking pixels, no behavioral advertising. Our analytics tool (Umami) counts page visits without identifying you personally and without using cookies.
We never sell, share, or market to you. Your information is not shared with any advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing companies — full stop.
We use two small services to operate the site (Umami for analytics and Web3Forms to process contact forms). Both are privacy-respecting and do not use your data for marketing. Our site is served through Cloudflare, which may see basic connection data as traffic passes through their network.
We keep form submissions for one year, then delete them.

1. Who We Are
NetSmart Digital Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") is a digital services company operating the website located at netsmartdigital.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you visit or interact with the Site.

You are never required to submit any personal information to browse this Site.
Information Collected Automatically
We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to understand how visitors interact with our Site in aggregate. Umami collects general usage information such as:
- Pages visited and referral source
- Browser type and operating system (generic category, not a unique fingerprint)
- Country-level location derived from IP address (IP address itself is not stored)
- Device type (desktop, tablet, or mobile)
Umami does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individual users, and does not collect or store personally identifiable information. The analytics data we receive cannot be used to identify you as an individual.
Information Collected by Our Hosting Infrastructure
Our Site is delivered through Cloudflare's content delivery network. As a standard part of routing web traffic, Cloudflare may collect connection-level metadata such as IP addresses, request timestamps, and HTTP headers. This processing is performed by Cloudflare as an independent data controller under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store this connection-level data ourselves.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:
- To respond to inquiries, questions, or requests you submit through our contact form.
- To send you notifications about new posts on our Insights blog, where you have explicitly subscribed to receive such notifications.
- To understand aggregate patterns of how our Site is used so that we may improve it.
We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising, behavioral tracking, or any purpose beyond those stated above.
4. What We Do Not Do
We do not:
- Sell, rent, license, or transfer your personal information to any third party.
- Share your personal information with advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing companies.
- Use your contact information to market additional services to you without your consent.
- Use cookies or cross-site tracking technologies of any kind.
- Deploy third-party advertising scripts, social media tracking pixels, or analytics tools that identify you personally.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We engage a small number of third-party service providers ("data processors") to operate the Site. Each provider receives only the minimum data necessary to perform its function. We do not authorize any of these providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes or to share it with other third parties for marketing.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
This Site does not use cookies of any kind — neither first-party cookies set by us nor third-party cookies set by advertising networks or analytics platforms. Our analytics provider, Umami, operates without cookies and is specifically configured to collect no personally identifiable information.
No third-party scripts that could track your activity across other websites are loaded on this Site.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information collected through contact forms and blog signup forms for a period of up to one (1) year from the date of submission. After this period, the information is deleted. If you would like your information removed before that period ends, you may request deletion at any time by contacting us at logan@net-smart.net.
Anonymized analytics data processed by Umami is subject to Umami's own data retention policies. Because this data cannot identify you as an individual, it is not subject to personal data retention limits on our end.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Our Site is delivered over HTTPS and hosted on infrastructure that implements standard security controls.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by our Site or third-party service providers.
9. Children's Privacy
This Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at logan@net-smart.net and we will take steps to delete it promptly.
10. Links to Third-Party Websites
Our Site may contain links to external websites we do not operate. This Privacy Policy applies only to netsmartdigital.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting any personal information.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Site after an updated policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
